2017 has been another great year for Iglu.com, and with a newly appointed director already announced for next year, we look forward to building on recent successes and maintaining our market position as Europe’s largest Online Travel Agent for cruise and ski holidays.
After the successful launch of the new Iglu Ski website in winter 2016, we continued to enhance our online services by relaunching Iglu.com featuring improved accessibility, digital convergence and voice search.
The exciting developments came from the need to have a consolidated and accessible digital presence to reach new and existing customers after a period of rapid expansion
Recognised in City A.M’s 2017 edition of The Leap 100 as one of the country’s most exciting and fastest growing companies, we continue to hold accessibility with high regard so that our growing customer base can find our products and services with ease. Our accessibility improvement plan includes a combination of image tagging, responsive templates and innovative voice search.
Whilst we continue to enhance our online presence in specialist travel in 2017, we have also welcomed established talent to our network through the investment of Beauport; and expanded our current board of directors with the addition of Ed Burke, as Iglu’s Front End Director.
Company growth is set to continue at a similar pace in 2018 as highly regarded digital travel executive Ottokar Rosenberger joins our top level executive team as Chief Operating Officer. As a seasoned traveller with years of industry experience, Ottokar’s unique skillset will further strengthen our core operations and executive board.
