As Founder and Chairman of Iglu.com Richard paved the way for Iglu to become the largest independent agent of ski and cruise holidays in the UK. Spearheading the company since 1998, Richard continues to motivate and inspire the growing and passionate teams behind Iglu's UK and international presence.
David joined Iglu in 2018 as Commercial Director before taking over from Founder Richard Downs as CEO in 2021. His professional experience started in consulting at Bain & Co. He then spent five years building Thomas Cook’s eCommerce business before becoming Chief Digital Officer at OVO Energy where he helped them grow into one of the UK’s leading energy challenger brands. Most recently he was Founder and CEO at his own travel tech start-up, which he successfully sold before joining the Iglu team. David brings a wealth of experience in managing and growing businesses in the UK and internationally which has helped Iglu to continue to go from strength-to-strength.
Since 2007 Simone has remained an integral member of Iglu's management team; from Marketing Manager to Managing Director she has lent her skills to several areas of the business. Simone's extensive knowledge and first-hand experience of the cruise industry now places her at the forefront of Iglu's international relations as Senior Vice President of Global Supply.
Present with Iglu.com since 2003, David was active and present during Iglu's first commercial cruise deal and has been driving a forward-thinking Product and Commercial Department ever since. As Commercial Director, David demonstrates a trailblazing approach to commercial operations and continues to pioneer Iglu's unique position in specialist travel.
Joining Iglu.com in 2000 from a senior role at Crystal Holidays, Kirsteen brings with her a wealth of Digital Marketing experience that she applies to her current role as Iglu's Marketing Director. With a longstanding career in the travel industry, Kirsteen motivates and manages a dynamic Marketing department servicing Iglu's UK and International brands.
Siobhan joined Iglu in 2019 as Operations Director bringing a wealth of travel operations and leadership experience from 17 years in TUI’s Specialist Division, Global Transformation Director for Dnata Travel and, prior to joining Iglu, consulting as Business Transformation Director for Marelo LTD. In addition to all of the customer-facing teams at Iglu, Siobhan also leads the People and Culture and Strategic Transformation functions across the Iglu business. She is extremely passionate about ensuring a customer and people-centric approach to everything we do at Iglu.
With over 20 years spent in the Ski Industry Simon brings a unique understanding of the Ski market place with first hand experience in tour operation, overseas customer experience and online retail. As Managing Director of Ski Simon is responsible for all aspects of the Iglu Ski business.
Overseeing Iglu's vast online presence as IT Director since 2015, Scott orchestrates and mentors a thriving team of talented developers. Arriving at Iglu from a position of Enterprise Architecture at wiggle.co.uk, Scott cultivates Iglu's expanding infrastructure team and coordinates the operations of Iglu's technology.
As Financial Director of Iglu.com, Lorna applies significant skill and expertise to a rapidly expanding business. Lorna's established financial background in travel saw her devote 17 years to First Choice before joining Iglu in 2009. Since then, Lorna continues to strategise financial operations for Iglu's growing global presence.
Ed joined iglu.com in 2016 during a pivotal point of international expansion. With proven experience in global front-end web development at rentalcars.com, Ed brings considerable skill and insight to Iglu's expanding brands. As Front End Director of Iglu, Ed oversees a multitude of display attributes and processes.
