Ski Resort Information, Ski Holidays to Vaujany

Vaujany

Vaujany and Auris en Oisans are traditional attractive rural villages, which share the huge ski area of Alpe d’Huez but at opposite ends.

The skiing is extensive, covering over 270km of piste, with plenty of variety for all standards and rising to 3,300m. Advanced skiers will be delighted with the long black runs, including the 16km Sarenne, reputedly the longest black run in Europe. There is a wide selection for intermediates and beginners are well looked after, with their own designated area. Vaujany is linked by a giant 160 person cable car and it also has skiing and ski school of its own. Auris en Oisans is part of the Alpe d’Huez lift system but also has its own local slopes, which are good for beginners.

Après ski in both villages is similar, being based around the local bars and restaurants.
