St Christoph is St Anton's better looking little brother. This tiny resort, while it shares the massive ski area, is a fairy tale winter wonderland of a place. St Christoph is quite exclusive compared to St Anton; and much quieter.
The Alberg skiing area is superb for intermediates and advanced skiers; its huge ski area and varied pistes offer a challenge for all standards. The pistes are extremely well groomed by the pisteurs using latest technology snow canons if required. A very modern lift infrastructure ensures easy access to pistes that are well connected and clearly marked.
The area is a Mecca for off piste skiing and experienced guides are widely available. Ski schools are highly professional; the Arlberg Ski School, established in 1921 and based in St Christoph, is reputed to be the oldest in Europe.
