Ski Resort Information, Ski Holidays to Seefeld
SeefeldThe charming village of Seefeld is situated in the largest nature reserve in Austria at an altitude of 1200m. The top skiing altitude is 2100m and all levels will find something to pique their interest here.
Seefeld has great snow reliability (all the 35km of pistes are covered by snow making equipment) and is divided into the two main areas of Roshutte and Gschwandtkopf. Both areas offer something for everyone but Seefeld is a resort mainly for the beginner and early intermediate skier. The 25 lifts serve a resort with mostly blue and some red runs, none of which are very difficult. For snowboarders there is a snowboard park with a half pipe. The great ski school and the mild slopes will encourage learning and improvement and if one tires of skiing there is plenty to do off slope.
250km of cross country trails, a large casino and plenty of other off slope activities are on hand when the days skiing is over. The apres ski scene is also good with the early evening crowd getting quite lively in the many bars.
