"Puy Saint Vincent 1600" is situated at an altitude of 1400 m on a hill of the well-known "Vallée de la Vallouise", near the "Ecrings-Nationalpark" and is sheltered from the wind by the surrounding mountain peaks (Pelvoux 3900 m, Ecrins 4100 m).
