Set at 2050m, Pas de la Casa is one of the highest resorts in Europe. The height and excellent snow making capability ensure good snow conditions and a long season. The resort rarely closes before the end of April. Pas de la Casa is found at the northern end of Andorra, it’s the border town with France and is the closest to Toulouse (transfer airport). It’s proximity to France lends Pas de la Casa more of a French atmosphere, than other Andorran resorts, however Pas continues the tradition of great value for money.
The skiing is probably the most comprehensive, especially when it is combined with Grau Roig and the new link to Soldeu el Tarter. It offers something for all abilities, although intermediates and beginners are probably best catered for. Snowboarding is particularly popular and there is a board park and half pipe. Ski school as in neighboring Soldeu, is dominated by English speaking instructors.
Bars and restaurants abound to suit all tastes and pockets. Some UK tour operators take over a bar for themed evenings and the predominately young clientele ensure it’s always lively.
