The modern holiday resort of Haute Nendaz is situated on a large, sunny plateau above the traditional village of Nendaz approx 16 km from Sion (airport with direct flights from London), approx 82 km from Lausanne and 175 km from Geneva. Wonderful view of the Alps. Easy access by car from Sion along a good mountain road or by public transport by train to Sion and then bus from Sion up to Nendaz. Nendaz makes an ideal holiday centre with all sport and entertainment facilities, disco, cosy restaurants, dance hall, squash.

93 drag lifts transport you to 386 km of downhill ski runs of great variety from Verbier to Thyon 2000 - there are good links between all the resorts in the region. The new lifts at Plan de Fou enable you to ski right down to the village of Nendaz without having to make use of the bus service. In the region as a whole there are 300 ski and snowboards instructors for adults and children, child-minding service for over 2's.
