Madonna di Campiglio is an attractive, well established, traditional resort. The location is stunning - pine forests and lakes surrounded by the imposing peaks of Brenta Dolomites.
The ski area is best suited to intermediates, 150 kilometres of runs including plenty of long, scenic reds and blues will be enough to satisfy the needs of any intermediate. There is a good nursery slope area for beginners and some easy runs to progress on to after the first few lessons. Advanced skiers will find some exciting skiing amid the breathtaking scenery, there is a challenging black run from the Spinale Direttissima down to the village.
The village is smart and chic with an Italian flavour. Several lively bars and a good selection of restaurants to suit all budgets provide a good mix of après-ski establishments to chose from. Other activities include a natural ice rink, dog sledging, ice biking and night skiing.
