La Rosiere is a traditional French alpine village, offering fantastic snow conditions and a variety of runs for all levels of skier.
Situated on the French Italian boarder La Rosiere is linked to the ski area of La Thuile in Italy. The resort and slopes are south facing, attracting a lot of sunshine, however La Rosiere has an excellent snow record on account of the resort altitude at 1850 metres and its location on the Petit St. Bernard Pass.
The slopes in La Rosiere are generally fairly wide, interspersed with some testing reds and blacks, and are well suited to beginners through to competent intermediates. Advanced skiers will find more challenging runs across in La Thuile. The children's facilities and ski schools are particularly good making this a great resort for a familiy holiday.
